Volunteering at Thrive's garden projects
We welcome volunteers at Thrive's garden projects. If you live within travelling distance of Battersea Park in South London, or the Trunkwell Garden Project at Beech Hill, near Reading, you might like to volunteer to work alongside staff and clients in the gardens during the week.
Weekend volunteering is also available once a month at the Battersea Garden project, and if you live near Reading, we'd like to hear from you if you're interested in helping out at weekend fundraising events.
If you don't live near either of Thrive's garden projects, but would like to volunteer for a project offering horticultural therapy, we support around 900 garden projects in the UK and we can put you in contact with a project in your local area.
Volunteering for the Green Circle project
If you live in North Hampshire, and you have gardening experience, you might enjoy getting involved with the Green Circle project, helping older people get back into gardening in their own gardens.
Volunteering within Thrive's office
You could also help out at our head office with mailings, and general administrative tasks.
Volunteering to raise funds for Thrive
If you would like to volunteer to help raise funds for Thrive, you can be based anywhere in the UK. Contact our fundraising team for a fundraising pack to help get you started.
If you are interested in volunteering for Thrive in any way, contact the Information Service, or call us on 0118 988 5688 to find out more.
We can discuss the type of volunteering you are interested in, how many hours a month you might be able to offer and the training and support that would be available. At Thrive we take our responsibility to you seriously and wish to make absolutely sure that your volunteering work is both enjoyable and fulfilling.
