Taster training day
We're holding a taster training day on 23 March 2010 at our offices in Beech Hill, near Reading in Berkshire (UK) for anyone interested in learning more about how social and therapeutic horticulture can help disabled people.
The day will consist of a number of practical workshops that will introduce all the building blocks of how to use gardening as a therapy. You will also have the opportunity to talk to Thrive's training team and ask a panel of expert therapists questions.

Free seminar for professionals - Gardening for Hearts & Minds

Using gardening as a self management rehabilitation tool for those affected by stroke and heart disease.
Aimed at professionals and practitioners within the healthcare sector, this seminar will give a real insight into how gardening can help and support the rehabilitation and recovery of people who are affected by stroke and heart disease.

We also run one and two-day courses which are particularly suitable for people working in health, social care, environment and education. We also offer higher education opportunities with our Professional Development Diploma (PDD) in partnership with Coventry University and Pershore College.
