Garden Parties

One great way to raise money for Thrive and have lots of fun while celebrating your garden is to hold a Garden Party.

It's s a great way to show your support for Thrive and help make a difference to the lives of people living with disabilities or ill health, those who are isolated, disadvantaged or vulnerable.

It couldn’t be easier – simply invite your friends and neighbours over and either dazzle them with your garden, or theme your party like ours. Why not have your own Downton Abbey-inspired tea party; or how about a Mad Hatter’s themed garden party? Dress up, or dress down the idea is to have fun in your garden whilst raising money for Thrive.

You can involve the children by holding a sweetie hunt; decorate terracotta pots; plant and paint old wellies; have a raffle.

Other ideas to make your party go with a swing include baking and selling cakes, selling your home grown vegetables, offering cream teas or holding a barbecue.

Or you could just let your stunning garden speak for itself.

We have a Garden Party pack (click here to download) full of tips and ideas and practical stuff like invitations and posters to help your party go with a swing.
